On Gratitude

I was thinking today about my watch. It's a rather nice watch. I would never have bought such a nice one for myself, but this one was a gift. It makes me think of Fr. George who gave it to me.

When a couple marries, and others send them gifts, the couple remembers the donors when they use the wedding presents.

God gives me everything, but it seems that most of the time I think about the immediate rather than the ultimate. Maybe I should use the gifts He gives/gave more often, so I think about Him more.
